Probate and Trust Administration Attorney

At The Law Center PLLC, we typically represent trustees and personal representatives in trust administration and probate matters. We are also available to represent beneficiaries as needed.

Our goal is to ensure that trustees and personal representatives are fully aware of their fiduciary duties to the beneficiaries and are able to comply with their other legal responsibilities. We also help such individuals assemble their annual accountings and complete any necessary filings with the court.

What Happens In Probate?

Probate is the process of transferring assets out of your name and giving them to your intended beneficiaries, whether those beneficiaries are your children, your spouse, a charity or any other party. Typically, when the will or petition is filed with the court, a personal representative (or in some cases, an executor) is named, who will essentially step into your shoes and do the work of transferring the assets.

We Are Here To Help Shoulder The Burden

Most people appointed as trustees or personal representatives have little to no experience in this area of estate law. They have careers, families, financial concerns and personal responsibilities of their own. That is why our extensive legal experience and counsel are invaluable during this difficult time.

We guide clients through the rigorous requirements and complexities of the probate and trust administration processes. We also act as the main point of contact, fielding questions and concerns on behalf of our clients so that their legal duties do not absorb every waking moment. The Law Center PLLC can handle as much or as little of the arrangements following the death of a loved one as the client desires. Grieving is an important healing process. Let us shoulder some of the burden.

Feel free to call our office at 303-991-5200 or contact us online to learn more about the probate and trust administration process in Colorado or Kansas.
